Delphi - Ancient Greek City
When you search about delphi most of the results you get are about the programming language. But in fact Delphi is an ancient greek city.
Delphi, renowned for its oracle of Apollo, was a city in the ancient Greek city-state of Phocis. Delphi was located on the southern slope of Mt. Parnassus.
Delphi is an Ancient City in the prefecture of
Fokida, on the south side of mount Parnassos. The Ancient Greeks considered it to be the centre of the world. (pretty cool :) Today there are about 1,500 permanent residents in Delphi.
