Zooey Deschanel

Zooey Claire Deschanel was born on January 17, 1980 in Los Angeles, California to Oscar-nominated cinematographer Caleb Deschanel and actress Mary Jo Deschanel. As a bright blue-eyed-brunette, Zooey had an older sister named Emily (also a fellow actress) and spent much of her time on film sets and on location watching her father work and even settling on whatever exotic location. Ever since she was very young, Zooey was inspired to be an actress even to her parent's concern about what she wanted to do. Knowing that her parents did not want her to become an actress at an early age, she lived a pretty normal life, but still thrives to be an actress when she grows up and also spends some of her time at film sets wishing that she can be an actress soon.

Like most of the people I remember her from Cameron Crowe's Oscar-winning film, Almost Famous, which she fills the screen with those bright eyes of hers and tells her on-screen younger brother, "Someday, you'll be cool." Last night I watched her at The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as Trillian and after a little search I also figured out that she also acted in Good Girl; an independent film that Jennifer Aniston was the leading actress.
